About your trip

Each year, from July through October, the waters surrounding Tonga transform into one of the most extraordinary natural playgrounds on earth. Humpback whales migrate from Antarctica to these warm, protected lagoons to give birth, nurture their young, and rest in the tropical calm of the South Pacific. It’s here, in the turquoise shallows around Mount Island, that you’ll experience one of life’s rarest privileges swimming alongside these gentle giants in their natural environment. Our exclusive 7-day itinerary blends intimate whale encounters with the serenity of island life, gourmet dining, and barefoot luxury. While itineraries may shift slightly based on arrival days and ocean conditions, Sundays are always reserved for rest, reflection, and soaking up the beauty of this sacred island sanctuary.
