We’ll set out early from your riad, embarking on a breathtaking journey over the Atlas Mountains via the Tichka Pass, which soars to an impressive 2,260 meters. Along the way, enjoy ample opportunities to pause and soak in the stunning landscapes of this majestic range. By midday, we’ll arrive at the iconic Ait Ben-Haddou Kasbah. A UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its striking architecture and cinematic history, having hosted films like Gladiator and The Mummy. After exploring the ancient streets and earthen buildings, and enjoying lunch either before or after your visit, we’ll continue to Ouarzazate, where we’ll stop at the famous Atlas Film Studio. The journey continues through Skoura, known as the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs,” where mud-brick fortresses dot the lush landscape, harking back to the days of ancient desert trade routes. Continuing the journey, you’ll pass through the stunning Draa Valley, home to Morocco’s longest stretch of palm groves, spanning an impressive 1,100 kilometers (680 miles).
