We will pick up your family early in the morning for an unforgettable hot air balloon ride at sunrise. After floating above the breathtaking landscapes, you’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast at the base. Then, we’ll drive you back to Marrakech Medina, where your family will embark on a guided walking tour through the historic heart of the city.

Marrakech is one of Morocco’s most vibrant and fascinating cities, rich in history and culture. As one of the country’s former imperial capitals, it’s now a lively hub filled with colorful markets, stunning palaces, and hidden gems waiting to be explored. We’ll take you and your family to the best spots, ensuring an engaging and memorable experience for all ages!

Our tour will take you through the city’s iconic highlights: explore the exquisite Bahia Palace and the architectural masterpiece of Ben Youssef Madrasa. Marvel at the towering Koutoubia Mosque, stroll through the lively Jamaa El Fna Square, and lose yourself in the maze-like Medina and Souks. To round off the day, enjoy the tranquility of the Majorelle Garden, a lush oasis in the heart of the city. Get ready to experience the magic and allure of Marrakesh!

Your family adventure begins early in the morning as we depart from your riad and embark on an unforgettable journey over the Atlas Mountains. Along the way, there will be plenty of scenic stops for your family to take in the stunning mountain landscapes and capture beautiful memories together.

By midday, we'll arrive at the iconic Ait Ben-Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its impressive mud-brick architecture and its role in movies like Gladiator and The Mummy. Your family will explore its ancient alleyways, learn about its fascinating history, and enjoy lunch either before or after your visit, depending on your pace.

Next, we continue to Ouarzazate, where we'll visit the renowned Atlas Film Studio, a fun stop for kids and adults alike! Here, you'll see real-life sets from Hollywood movies and get a glimpse into Morocco’s film industry.

Our journey then takes us through Skoura, known as the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.” This lush oasis is home to Amridil Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most famous and well-preserved kasbahs, offering a glimpse into the history of the region’s desert traders.

Finally, we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, passing dramatic rock formations and winding gorges before settling into a family-friendly hotel for the night. The evening will be yours to relax, enjoy a warm meal, and reflect on the day's incredible sights.

The next morning, after a hearty breakfast, your family will set out on an exciting 3-4 hour hike through the Dades Valley, exploring the breathtaking Monkey Fingers Canyon—named for its unique rock formations that resemble curled fingers. This scenic trek offers a mix of adventure and stunning landscapes, winding through narrow gorges, lush palm groves, and dramatic red rock cliffs. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to see local Berber villages, spot native wildlife, and even meet friendly nomadic shepherds guiding their flocks. The hike is family-friendly, with plenty of opportunities to stop, take photos, and enjoy the beauty of the valley at a comfortable pace. After the hike, you’ll return to your hotel to relax before continuing your journey through Morocco’s breathtaking south.

Overnight in Dades Valley

After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, your family’s adventure continues as we set out on a scenic journey through the breathtaking Dades Valley, known for its lush palm orchards and ancient Berber-Jewish kasbahs. Our first stop will be the Todra Gorges, an awe-inspiring series of towering limestone cliffs sculpted by the river over thousands of years. This natural wonder offers a great opportunity for exploration, short walks along the canyon, and capturing stunning family photos.

From there, we’ll drive to the village of Jorf, where your family will discover an ancient underground irrigation system, a fascinating example of early desert engineering that once sustained entire communities. Then, we continue to the oasis town of Erfoud, famous for its rich fossil deposits. Here, your family can learn about the region’s prehistoric past and even see beautifully preserved fossils that date back millions of years.

Our journey reaches its most exciting destination—the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes, where golden sand rises up to 150 meters. Your family will embark on an unforgettable camel ride across the dunes, watching as the sun sets over the Sahara, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink. Upon arrival at your desert camp, you’ll settle into your cozy, well-equipped tents for the night. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, followed by live music around the campfire under the twinkling desert sky.

For even more adventure, the camp offers sandboarding, a fun and exciting activity for both kids and adults to glide down the soft dunes. After enjoying a hearty breakfast at camp, we’ll embark on a scenic tour of the Erg Chebbi area, starting with a visit to a local nomadic family. Here, your family will get a unique glimpse into the traditional Berber way of life, learning about their customs, hospitality, and daily routines in the vast desert.

Next, we’ll head to the village of Khamlia, where you’ll take part in a fun and interactive cooking class. You’ll learn to prepare authentic Moroccan cuisine, including the famous Berber Pizza, a delicious stuffed flatbread baked in a traditional clay oven. While in Khamlia, you’ll also experience the mesmerizing rhythms of Gnaoua music, a soulful African tradition that has been passed down through generations.

After enjoying a delicious homemade lunch, we’ll turn up the excitement with an ATV (Quad Bike) adventure! Your family will ride through the rolling dunes, feeling the thrill of the desert while taking in the breathtaking scenery.

As the sun begins to set, we’ll return to camp for another unforgettable evening under the star-lit desert sky. Relax by the fireside, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, and share stories of the day’s adventures. Your family’s day begins with an early wake-up to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the golden dunes of Merzouga—a peaceful and magical experience you’ll never forget. After enjoying a delicious breakfast in the tranquil desert, you’ll hop back on your camels for a final ride through the dunes to meet your driver and continue the journey.

Our first stop is Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet, where your family will explore one of the oldest markets in Morocco. Wander through the vibrant souks, see traditional Berber crafts, and experience the lively atmosphere of this historic trading town.

From there, we continue through the spectacular Draa Valley, home to Morocco’s longest stretch of palm groves, stretching 1,100 kilometers (680 miles). Along the way, we’ll stop in Agdez for a panoramic view of the lush valley and its kasbah-dotted landscapes.

Next, we journey through the Anti-Atlas Mountains, offering rugged and dramatic scenery along winding roads. By evening, we’ll arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the Gateway to the Sahara and famous for its cinematic history. Your family will check into a comfortable riad, where you can relax, enjoy a warm meal, and unwind after an exciting day of exploration. A restful overnight stay awaits before the next chapter of your Moroccan adventure!
